Sicilian cuisine is a treasure of authentic flavors, with local products to enjoy endlessly. The fish here is incredibly fresh—straight from the boat to the grill in no time. You’ll find shellfish, bluefish, swordfish, tuna, sardines, octopus, and more, served daily in local restaurants depending on the catch of the day.
The coastline offers breathtaking landscapes with rocky coves and hidden bays perfect for sunbathing, snorkeling, or diving. Some can be reached only by sea, others by land with the right directions. Beyond the famous Scopello sea stacks and Zingaro Nature Reserve, explore Guidaloca, Cala Bianca, Cala Rossa, Fossa dello Stinco, and Cala Mazzo di Sciacca. The deep seabed reveals a fascinating underwater world.
When it rains, you can still enjoy discovering the town indoors: visit the Ethno-Anthropological Museum inside the castle, stop by the Uzzaredru Sea Museum, explore the main churches such as Maria SS. del Soccorso, and end the day with an aperitivo or a traditional Sicilian dinner.
